What We’re Wearing in the LA Office: Jennie Kwon Designs rings
"My philosophy on gold rings is: the more, the merrier! My favorite ones come from Los Angeles jewelry designer, Jennie Kwon. Her rings are so delicate, but at the same time, they pack a punch visually. I mean, look at that emerald! I love that they’re on-trend and yet the designs are still classic and simple. I love them ALL.”

What We’re Wearing in the LA office: Made Eyewear

"With sunny days year-round in Los Angeles, we’re always looking for fun eyewear. That’s why we jumped at the chance to customize a pair of Made Eyewear shades. Although we all picked tortoise, next time we’re going for some brighter colors (hot pink! neon green!). With so many different styles and colors to choose from, the possible combinations for cute specs are endless!”

We’re Obsessed: Mobile Hair & Makeup by StyleBee

"I’m often getting glammed up in my office with a tiny mirror and a travel-sized straightener for the many post-work festivities. Sometimes there just isn’t time to go the pros, so I, along with my colleagues, found a way to bring the pros to us. Anna Santeramo, co-founder of StyleBee, created a solution for busy women who want to look their best. The app allows you to book top hairstylists, makeup artists, and massage therapists directly to your house, office, hotel room, or wherever you’re prepping.

I called in StyleBee pro, Hope Zarro, to come to the office last Friday before heading out to a WME event, followed by an Entertainment Weekly party. It only took 45 minutes and allowed me to keep working somewhat remotely while she worked her magic.”

We’re Obsessed: Damsel x Gorjana & Griffin

"The LA office previewed Damsel x Gorjana, the new capsule collection from Damsel in Dior creator Jacey Duprie, and we were head over heels in love with the delicate, yet modern aesthetic. The hanger necklace (my favorite!) is a nod to her blog’s logo, and the bulldog pendant and earrings were modeled after her own adorable bulldogs. You can catch a glimpse of the collection in our October issue (pg 128!) and it’s available (as of yesterday) on Gorjana & Griffin.”

What We’re Wearing (in the International Department): A Green Rebozo from Mexico
“No matter the season, you will always find a scarf or wrap in my bag or over my shoulders. I subscribe to the idea that you can never have too many, which is why I have about 20 in my stash and take one wherever I go. My favorite for summer — which is especially helpful in protecting against the fierce blast of office air conditioning — is my green rebozo, a beautiful hand-woven shawl from Mexico (the iconic Frida Kahlo was a fan of the look). And you don’t have to cross the border to find them — ikatrebozos.com sells versions I love for $25 each. I know I have a lot already, but what’s one more?”

What We’re Wearing: Scratch Nail Wraps

"Summer days are in full swing, and my nails are, too — thanks to Scratch nail wraps. The Los Angeles company offers three unique, limited-edition designs every month, so there’s always a new punchy look to try. The easy application process made it a quick favorite of the staffers in the LA office, including myself. Right now, I’m all about the watermelon — yum! Check them out at goscratchit.com.”

What We’re Wearing: Two-Toned Manis
"I was inspired by the emerald Saint Laurent gown Salma Hayek wore for InStyle’s July issue for my manicure today. I did this one myself using my new fave green, First Timer by Essie, then added a touch of gold with Color Club’s Disco Nap. Scotch tape helped me create the no-smudge triangle and color-blocking. I wonder if Salma would approve?”

What We’re Wearing: Red, White and J.Crew Twins
"Senior Beauty Editor Angelique Serrano (right) came to work this morning wearing this cute beaded patriotic top with navy shorts that she had just scooped up from J.Crew’s sale section. Thankfully, there is a store conveniently located across the street from InStyle’s New York office, so I slipped out to get the pieces—at 40% off to boot. With this look, it’ll definitely be a happy holiday!”

Last August, when I purchased a muted paisley iPhone case I was shocked by how often I was told it would “transition nicely to fall.” I’d never before thought of my tech cover as a seasonal item, but now I do. So what better way to go into spring than Prada's pop-of-color design? The bright leather flowers will take me well into the next season (if I can wait that long to break it out!). Find out where to get this case!
