Never ones to miss the opportunity to put on a show, Dolce & Gabbana’s runway was one of my spring Fashion Week highlights. Paying homage to the design duo’s native Sicily, organic fabrics like raffia and bent cane juxtaposed bright and textural embellishments. Though some of the numbers were meant to stay on the runway, the label’s sparkly flats adapt the mix for the real world. Like the flashiest catwalk numbers, I too will put on a show when I walk by in these designs.
It’s no wonder Marni caused such a fuss when their signature prints were unleashed on H&M earlier this month. Who could resist the label’s bright polka-dots, rich brocades and colorful abstracts? True to form, these quirky flats are a definite spring must-have. They’ll come in handy for hopping subways, running errands and racing my fellow shoppers to the front of the line when H&M’s next designer collaboration is released!

You don’t get to 5’11 without learning a thing or two about flats. Along the way I’ve found that skimmers can skid, cut and are often just as uncomfortable as their sky-high counterparts. Not the case with these rubber bottom beauties. These colorful leopard print ballerinas are ready for all day wear thanks to an easy fit and luxe fabric. One thing they do have in common with my arch aching heels is that they’ll always stand out in a crowd. Click here to see who designed these hot flats!
