For me, the biggest surprise of last week’s Emmys didn’t happen onstage. More shocking than Tracy Morgan passing out, or Mad Men’s unexpected shutout was how radiant Lucy Liu looked in her flawlessly contoured column. Since my plans don’t include walking the red carpet, I’d swap her style for Versace’s shorter number. My chainmail and satin dress may only be a fraction of her gown’s length, but this heavy metal mini would capture all of her glamour. Find out how to get Lucy Liu’s sparkle!

You know when you get a song stuck in your head? I’m having a similar sensation with Jason Wu’s flirty peplum dress. This catchy number’s been on repeat since it came down the designer’s pretty spring runway. I’m hooked on the retro style’s woven houndstooth, bowed waist and bubblegum skirt. I’ve yet to get this hit off my mind, so until I do I’ll just keep singing its praises.

Every season there’s always one trend that feels destined to take over my wardrobe, this spring I’m torn between two: bright dresses and bold prints. Thanks to this best-of-both-worlds design I won’t have to split my allegiance. I’ll pair the knee-length shift with a cardigan and work it in the office, then leave my shoulders bare at night to reveal an exposed back zipper and cool cutout. If only all of life’s decisions came to such a perfect compromise!

I’ve always doubted that I’d be the type of bride to change into a second dress after her ceremony, until I spotted this hot little number. For the walk down the aisle I’d go long and elegant, then turn up the heat at the reception in Lanvin’s ruffled LWD. I’d dance the night away in my Parisian design and even if the party lasts past dawn, I’m sticking with this dress. Click here to see the price of this ruffled frock!
