Never ones to miss the opportunity to put on a show, Dolce & Gabbana’s runway was one of my spring Fashion Week highlights. Paying homage to the design duo’s native Sicily, organic fabrics like raffia and bent cane juxtaposed bright and textural embellishments. Though some of the numbers were meant to stay on the runway, the label’s sparkly flats adapt the mix for the real world. Like the flashiest catwalk numbers, I too will put on a show when I walk by in these designs.
